Major PeeWee - LT Player Advances - Will attend MLB All-Star Game
Submitted By socialmedia on Friday, June 30, 2017
The London Tecumsehs will be well represented at the MLB National Pitch Hit & Run Finals in Miami, Florida on July 8th by our very own Devon MacDonald-Keeling from the Major Peewee team.

Devon competed in the London Tecumseh hosted Pitch Hit & Run event at the beginning of May and was the overall winner, which secured him a spot in the Regional Competition in St. Mary’s.  Devon was also the overall winner at Regionals.

This accomplishment put him in the running to advance to the Team Championships in Toronto.  On June 17th Devon once again had an outstanding performance at the Rogers Centre.  He was the overall winner securing first place!

This advanced Devon to secure one of 3 spots out of 30 first place kids from the 30 MLB stadiums. Devon will now fly to Miami on July 8th, and participate in the National Finals, PHR against the other top 2 boys in his age group.

He will also have the opportunity to shag fly balls in the outfield, during the Home Run Derby and attend batting practice with the All-Star and Fan Fest and other VIP MLB events. We are so proud of Devon, and we all wish him the best of luck during this once in a lifetime exciting opportunity!
